The medical home, also known as the patient-centered medical home (PCMH), is a team based health care delivery model led by a physician that provides comprehensive and continuous medical care to patients with the goal of obtaining maximized health outcomes. At the pediatrics level, a medical home is an approach to providing comprehensive primary care for children and youth. French Broad Pediatrics will be a home that goes beyond quick triage to another provider. French Broad Pediatrics is committed to helping you and your baby right from the start. The American Academy of Pediatrics’ recommend babies breastfeed until at least 12 months of age. Although breastfeeding is the best and most natural way to feed your baby, it does not always occur naturally and challenges can occur.
